Ike's baby.

Ike's baby again.

The Swede. He took the "Which Muppet are you most like?" quiz on Facebook and found, to his dismay, that he is most like the Swedish Chef. Surprise.

These statues have never seen a Swede before. Now they have.

I consider myself one of the influential people in Utah's history, along with Provo, Washakie, and Ogden (and now Rydgren!).

Some guy on TRAX either feeling bad about what he heard during the Priesthood Session, or feeling bad about having to ride TRAX.

K. B. Andersen--one of the coolest Danes I know, and my former mission president.

Nunne Andersen--one of the sweetest ladies I know, and just look at the wee bit of crazy behind those eyes. Began most addresses to us with "KAERE MissionAEAERE!"

Rydgren claims the "This is the Place" monument for Sweden. Looking to the future.

This shot is why I had to go buy a $8 roll of expired film from the airport bookstore. Expired was the only kind they carried, and they had to pull it out from under the counter. I rushed to get to the airport for a 4:00 flight, which meant no time for buying film at Wal-Mart or Target. Then, of course, I sat for another two hours waiting for my delayed flight. Awesome.
The wife used the digital camera for a niece's wedding, so I took my film camera, and it was really fun to use again--I really like how the reds came out in my pictures. I need to use it more often (there's always Scout camp!).
I just checked how they looked once published on the blog, and they are GINORMOUS! I apologize--I'm still working things out here on blogspot. And, because they were shot on film, they had to be scanned in, then Photoshopped for lint (which I didn't do very well). So, yeah, sorry.
Nice pictures! And they're even taken with an ancient camera that you have to load with real film! That's how it was back in the good old days, kids...
