Before giving it another thought, I went to the main control page on wordpress and killed it. It deleted all posts, pictures, and anything associated with it (supposedly). After I hit the "confirm" button, I wondered if it was the right thing to do--actually, it wasn't until about a week later when said student approached me again, laughing, wondering why I had deleted the whole kit-and-caboodle. "Really?" she asked. "Deleted the whole thing? You know I'll find it. Nothing is ever completely gone from the internet." Well, maybe not, but at least I haven't been able to find anything associated with it.
Reason #2? After thinking about my kids being out there with their names posted, etc., I figured maybe I really ought to have aliases for them. It's not like my "interested" students don't already know their names, but I'd rather have the people with the wrong kind of interest not know. So, there you have it.
I think I'll have a contest. If you'd like to get a chance to name my children, write me an email with some suggestions. Something royal-sounding and ridiculous will probably win. Preferably with a "the 3rd" or "esquire" on the end--that would be nice. Until they receive a name, though, I thought I would include a couple of pictures we shot this morning with them on the laptop, and a short video, if I can get it to work. (I'm new to blogspot/blogger--I hope to see how this works).

Child's head, dad's body.

Dad's head, child's body.
We had fun this morning.
I'll leave this up for a little while--apparently, I've already revealed Jr.'s name in the video clip. Crap. (No, his name's not "Crap"--well, sometimes it is, but the more colorful version of the word. That is an inheritance from my maternal grandparents.)
Enough for now.
